School24 is the original online ordering platform tailored for schools. Through the different modules we offer, parents, staff and students can order lunches and uniforms, arrange school and canteen events and efficiently manage the volunteer roster.
The idea for School24 began in 2008 when Abder, the CEO and founder, volunteered in his children's school canteen in Sydney, Australia. He noticed that many of the processes involved with organising lunch orders and preparing foods were laborious and time-consuming. He knew there had to be a better, more efficient solution. Software developer by trade, Abder created the first online ordering platform which was quickly used and loved by students, staff and parents at Killarney Heights Primary School. Within a matter of weeks, parents were efficiently ordering lunches with the click of their computer key or tap of their phone screen which were then automatically counted and categorised for canteen administrators that day.
What started out as a convenient solution for school canteens has since expanded to simplify other areas of a school's processes around Australia and internationally. School24 now offers online solutions to managing:
